Colombo Family member of Deleo Crew plead not guilty
Alleged members of a Colombo Family crew that the fed’s say were trying to stake a claim in Boston and move in on the turf of the recently hard hit New England Mafia pleaded not guilty to racketeering charges. Edmond Kulesza and Franklin Goldman the fed’s say are mafia soldiers part of the DeLeo Crew of the New York based Colombo Crime Family and led by Ralph DeLeo. DeLeo the fed’s claim is also the acting “Street Boss” for the Colombo Family.
The FBI claims the DeLeo crew was setting up shop in Boston and were prepared to do so with force. A large stock pile of weapons was recovered from a building in Watertown which the Fed’s claim is owned by the DeLeo crew. Goldman and Kulesza are said to be part of the DeLeo crew muscle and were conducting mob business under the orders of DeLeo from drug trafficing to collecting extortion payoffs.
