Mob linked Florida Attorney behind Gambino and Sicilian Mafia Bust

Mafia linked Florida attorney Scott Rothstein is spilling the beans on mob after he previously plead guilty to running a multimillion dollar ponzi scheme through his law firm. Rothstein used his firm Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler as a front for the scheme in which he sold phony legal settlements to multiple investors. Fed’s say Rothstein’s cooperation was instrumental in the latest large scale International Mafia Bust.

FBI sources report that the bust of a major Mafia figure that the Fed’s have long been tracking down was directly related to Rothstein’s information. Roberto Settineri a mafia associate who the Fed’s say is the go between for the Gambino crime family in New York and La Cosa Nostra mafia in Palermo, Sicily. The fed’s claim that the Gambino family has had long time ties and have been doing business with the Cosa Nostra clans in Sicily.

In the Mafia raid last week arrested along with Settineri were three other alleged associates of the Gambino crime family in Brooklyn and also twenty members of the Sicilian Mafia clan known as Santa Maria de Gesu in Palermo. The Fed’s say this was a major bust showing the American Mafia families and the Sicilian mafia still have a tight linked working relationship both in the U.S. and Sicily. As the case continues to unfold more arrest within the Gambino Family could continue as Rothstein continues to provide the Fed’s with more information.
