Nick Rizzuto Jr found murdered

The son of Montreal Mafia Boss Nick Rizzuto was found shot to death in N.D.G. Rizzuto Jr was 42 years old and reports are that he was shot and hit at least once. Rizzuto’s body was found along side a black mercedes benz parked behind an apartment building by Montreal police. Rizzuto was shot near the offices of FTM Construction which is owned by a business associate of Rizzuto’s named Antonio Magi.

Montreal police say they have some witness descriptions but they are at some point contradictory and not conclusive. But reports seem to lean to Rizzuto being shot by a single assailant who then fled the scene. One witness report was said to have heard at least six shots and then the sound of screeching tires from a vehicle.

The scene was taken over by crime technicians who took multiple pictures of the surrounding building and police say they will be paying very close attention to surveillance camera’s located a few yards from the shooting. Montreal police don’t think the line of sight of the camera’s mentioned will cover the area of the shooting itself but may provide shots of the gunmen or the card used as he fled the scene.

Nick Rizzuto’s Jr father and grandfather Nicolo Rizzuto were both convicted of Mafia related crimes but Rizzuto Jr was never charged.
